Nic founded Journey RPS after working for over 16 years in the Qualified Retirement Plan Servicing industry and gaining an educational background that includes an ASPA QKA designation. He formerly held the position of Director of Retirement Services for a Grand Rapids-based third party administration firm where he was responsible for department sales and marketing as well as daily administrative operations. In starting Journey, Nic believed in creating a TPA firm that was efficient, simple, and focused on meeting customers' needs. He was able to take the best people in his field with him when Journey began, ensuring that his company would accomplish this goal. Nic's primary responsibility is to serve our partners in a consulting capacity as well as oversee the general operation of Journey RPS.
Billie has over 30 years of retirement plan administration and financial industry experience. She holds an ASPA certification for Pension Administration and has worked as a pension administrator for the past 15 years. Prior to her work with retirement plans, she worked in the Trust Services department for Old Kent Bank, now known as Fifth Third Bank. As Director of Operations for Journey, Billie is responsible for servicing her clients with all aspects of plan administration, from daily trading and balancing to completion of government forms and monitoring compliance with federal regulations.
Rashel has worked in the Banking\Administration field for over 20 years. As our Allocation Processor, Rashel is responsible for processing plan contributions and new enrollments, as well as preparing instruction booklets for training plan sponsors to upload payroll information. Her acute attention to detail assures that information is recorded and communicated accurately and effectively.
